12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours a golden hue with a slight haze. It is topped with several inches of off white head that leaves spotty lacing.

The smell is citrus and earthy with some melon. I also get some biscuit from the malt. Light pine rounds it out.

The taste is dank and earthy. I get grapefruit and pine in the finish with a lingering bitterness.

Medium mouthfeel with a smooth mouthfeel with a little bit of a bite.

This is more of a west coast IPA. It is well made. I really wish Founders had a strong IPA game. Then they would be the only brewery that I would ever need to buy from. Fat Heads needs to merge with Founders and create the best brewery in the Universe.

L - bright golden straw colored with a thin white head.
S - sweet bready malt and grapefruit
T - light malt with grapefruit and a mildly bitter finish
F - light to medium bodied with low to moderate carbonation
O - very well balanced and easy to drink great beer. Classic MidWest IPA.

Very nice, crisp new IPA tried on tap at Founders. Pours a great clear golden color with minimal head and very scant, spotty lingering lacing. Smells of nice sweet fruity hops along with a little piney hops and malt. Tastes of loads of fruit - grapefruit, pineapple, orange, lemon, papaya - as well as more faint piney hops, caramel, smooth vanilla, honey and a perfectly-balanced malt backbone. Very nice and smooth, mild mouthfeel with great carbonation. As billed, this beer was extremely juicy and fresh, and really was a great balance between slightly bitter and not overly-sweet. Would definitely buy it bottled if it were ever available in stores. Nicely done!
