Formerly 'Mothership Series #7: Mucho Lupu'
We unraveled some of our favorite American hops to get to the juicy goodness inside. Dry hopped with traditional hop pellets along with lupulin powder, an innovative hop product that separates lupulin from the hop flower, Unraveled IPA is incredibly flavorful and aromatic. Wheat and oats form a smooth backdrop to carry all those wonderful hop characteristics, while the pour is beautifully clear.
Hops: Amarillo, Azacca, Mosaic and Simcoe

This is another very nice offering from Founders. It's billed as being Juicy, but I'm not getting a lot of juicyness. I can procure a 16oz 4 pack for $10 which makes this no Brainerd. What do I like better and are willing to spend $18 to $20 for do you ask? Any Tree House or Trillium IPA's for sure (The Other Half is also excellent).

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of fresh citrus and floral hops. Tastes of citrus and floral hops with just a hint of earthiness. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

12oz can from Craft Brewers. Bright, clear, fine head. Grassy, fruity, hoppy, sweet. Medium bodied, dry. Not bad, but seems a little generic for Founders.

12 oz. bottle, bottled 03/06/2023. I believe I've tried this beer before, but have never reviewed it, so here we go. A rotating release from Founders, brewed with hop pellets & cryo hops according to the label.
Poured to a Camp Crystal Lake stemless wine snifter.
A: Classical IPA in appearance; a nice light golden orange, finger of fresh soapy white head that stays awhile, leaving good scattered strands of lacing on the way down. Looks adequately carbonated, looks very nice..
S: Big blast of fresh citrus zest immediately upon uncapping. In the glass, it has aromas of honey, citrus, flowers, lemongrass. Earthy, pithy, herbal, with fresh-squeezed hop goodness. Smells piney, bitter, & fresh.
T: Deliciously well-balanced stuff, honeyed malt base balances perfect with the hop pairings. Floral, herbal, grassy, notes of lemondrop / zest. Fresh, juicy, & delicious stuff.
F: Smooth, crisp, clean, easy-drinking stuff with a modest abv. Lightly piney / bitter on the finish, but not overwhelmingly dry. I've already killed multiple six packs of this stuff already. Overall, excellent.
Founds Unraveled IPA -----4/5.

This is a good beer! Why? Well it´s cheap; old style start, perfect carbonation, a wild aftertaste and has all the attributes a good IPA has to have. Cheers!

Drinks like a hybrid of an IPA and a Hefeweizen. Interesting combination that seemed odd at first, but became more successful as it warmed and slowly won me over.

Unraveled IPA pours a darker copper, hazy color, with a small, long lasting, lacing head. Aroma is very earthy. Flavor is bold, earthy, bitter. Good body and feel. Overall, mix between a hazy and west coast IPA, a bit off and strange.

Canned on 12/28/21

Only the slightest haze within gold and orange colored hues. Chunky white foam cap and lace is pretty right on.
Nose: Mix of herbs and medium to light malted grains with a pine, citric and high toned fruity tang style smell.
Feel & Flavor: Crispy crackers feeling and flavored malt tones. Herbal and grainy with low level citrus, high toned earthy pine in the hops. Juicy and dry in equal parts.
Overall: A very high end, grocery store grab. Does the truck everytime. I'd like to say "mids" but it's one notch above that.
