Decent new brown ale tried on tap at Founders. Pours a dark brown color with just a little white lingering head and spotty lacing. Smells very faintly of mild coffee, malt and oats. Aromas opened up a little as the beer warmed. Tastes better, medium roast coffee, faint milk chocolate, vanilla, malt and a little raisin. I didn’t really detect any nuttiness. Smooth thin mild mouthfeel, decent carbonation. Not a bad effort but Founders definitely has much better brown ales.
