Mmm. Very tasty. Great new IPA tried on tap at Founders. Pours a clear golden color with some nice white head and moderate spotty lingering lacing. Smells of citrus zest hops, faint floral hops, malt, caramel and vanilla. Tastes of lots of fruity goodness - grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, orange, mango, passion fruit, guava - as well as notes of floral hops, malt, vanilla, biscuit and caramel. The malt backbone is so well-balanced with the mild hoppy bitterness. Smooth, mild, slightly creamy mouthfeel and just enough carbonation. A pleasure to sample, and I would definitely have a few of these even though it has a slightly higher ABV that may take it out of the “sessionable” category.
