12 FL. OZ. bottle
Served in an IPA glass
This beer pours pale yellow and hazy. It is topped with a few inches of creamy beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
The smell is a little sweet with light citrus and hints of melon.
The citrus is more pronounced in the flavor. Grapefruit and pine come out. Light bitterness in the finish.
Medium bodied with a pillowy mouthfeel
Tastes pretty much as expected, average. I love Founders, but this was simply chasing a popular style that has many pedestrian examples. I have said it before, and I will say it again, Founders should stick to dark beers and barrel aging. They excel in that realm.

Brief Review:
O: Took them forever, but Founder's is finally getting into the haze craze. This is a purely Founder's version, as you'd expect. Hazy only in appearance, but not really juicy or NE-style in flavor. Huge bitterness and hop flavor. Finishes nice though and mouthfeel is pretty creamy. Overall, a decent hazy attempt from Founder's to kick off the warm weather. But by no means is this even an average NE-style IPA.
Recommendation: True fans of this style may be disappointed here, but it's still worth seeking out as a decent beer from Founder's.
