Brief Review:
O: So I don't think I've had Dissenter since my lone bomber on the initial release. My review was just okay, interesting beer with good flavors, but nothing special. Very odd to see this show up 7 years later barrel-aged, but I'm here for it. A little more hoppy and floral than I remember, and the barrel really smooths out some harsh lager edges. Very reminiscent of Doom, but scaled back a bit. I can also tell this was made in GR and not Detroit (though picked up from Detroit in a crowler) because it's of high quality and the aroma transports me back to GR. The beers actually brewed in Detroit are of very poor quality.
Recommendation: The first bright spot from Founder's 2021 Cellar raid, try this if you can get there.
