Brief Review:
O: Founder’s is back with another Cellar Raid one-off here, and we have a BA twist on a favorite of mine. This is a very well-crafted beer and is in line with many of the great BA releases they’ve done lately. The brandy is unique here and can be hard to work with. I like what they’re trying to do with the sweetness of the raspberry, but maybe a more traditional bourbon would have worked better. Either way, the balance is really nice and this is a great dessert/fruit beer.
Recommendation: Kind of a hidden gem if you’re a local, head to the taproom and try it before it’s gone.
