Drank this a while ago, reviewed from notes.
A - Darker colored for an IPA, guessing there's some heavier malt characteristics in this one. Good sized head, just a little bit of stick on the side.
S - Nice combination of hops, heavier on the grapefruit than it needs to be, but some nice non-grapefruit citrus and floral notes.
T - Grapefruit with a little bit of honey and some caramel malt. Pine and resin are faintly there, as well as some other citrus. This is actually pretty good, if not a bit too much grapefruit.
M - Medium bodied, healthy carbonation.
D - Pretty easy to get down, this is a solid beer that is nice to drink and I would recommend.

quick review
A: Unusual color for an IPA. Dark brownish red. Rim Head, mild carbonation.
S: Holy grapefruit! Yum, grapefruit, lemon so citrus wonderful.
T: The citurs starts early in the taste which balances against the caramel malts. The finish is grapefruit and not much else.
M: Medium with decent carbonation. Nice hop finish.
D: Standard IPA drinkability.

A - Medium to dark amber in color, this IPA features a great, billowing head, but not much lacing.
S - A bomb of floral hops with some fragrant honey.
T - Grapefruit appears from the second it hits the palate, and this is followed by a short-lived barrage of caramel, honey, and malt. The hops come back in full force - floral and piny - and result in a fantastically bitter end, tempered by some residual sweetness.
M - Medium-bodied, this IPA is remarkable for not being syrupy despite the intense, complex tastes.
D - Although the hops pack a wallop, given time, the sugars limit the drinkability. It's still good, but there is room for improvement.
This is easily the best (at least, non-maple-ized) Founders IPA which I've had. If they bottled this, it'd be a fixture in my fridge.
