Autumn Nights Amber Ale

Pours a muddy burgundy-brown with a couple fingers of off-white foam. Aroma is blackberry, coffee, and nutty, earthy, bready malts. Coffee is mild in intensity with a bold expression similar to iced or cold brew coffee. Really lovely little aroma. Flavor profile lead with coffee, which again, mimics notes of cold brew coffee with its bold, expansive, but not intense taste. Blackberry and nutty, earthy, caramely malts round it out with a little sweetness and bitterness in that order. Bready malts come on stronger as the beer warms. In total, it's very mild, with malts forward allowing coffee and blackberry to develop behind. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a very smooth, consistent silt throughout. Overall, coffee notes help drive this one a little further, all the while, remaining well balanced and tame.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 750mL bottle.
