Golden in color. Smells of grain and lime. Flavors of lime, grain and honey. Very smooth and not very tart. Enjoyable

A nice gose with a strong like and a hint of something stronger (tequila). It tastes like a good line go se with a slight aftertaste of tequila. Decent color and feel.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of lime, salt, tequila and wheat. Tart lime taste with wheat, some agave flavor and salt.

12oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'CANNED ON 032723'.
Slightly cloudy, deep gold colored body. One finger of white head, which results in an island and a ring. Leaves behind a couple of scattered lacing strings.
Aroma of lime and tequila barrel. Hint of salt.
Taste is quite sweet and also lime tart. The lime prevails in the end. Slight tequila flavor. Slight salt. Quick fade out in the aftertaste.
Initially a fuller mouth feel with some syrup, which thins out quickly. More a mouth coater than a clean and crisp finish. Supportive carbonation.
The taste profile is thinner and shorter lasting, probably because of the lower ABV%. Still tasty and has the touch of tequila.
Overall refreshing and a good change of pace with its lower ABV%.

Pour is an ever so slight coppery yellow/orange. nice cap of white foam with good good retention and decent lacing - for a sour.
Nose is heavy on lime, followed by salt layered nicely over subtle, but definitely there, tequila.
Taste is a light bready malt character quickly followed by lime, salt, hints of tequila, subtle fruitiness persists.
easy to drink. Good beer. Interesting addition to their barrel aged line up being so low alcohol.

As the antithesis of nightcap, Founders gets the day going with a lighter gravity sour ale loosely modeled after German Gose but then veering into the Mexican world of lime and tequila for a total south of the boarder spin on a classic.
Pale gold and held in a light haze, Daycap Lime teases the nose with tanginess, fruitiness, citrus, floral agave and tequila barrel spice. Yet the taste starts out tepidly sweet with sourdough, light taffy and Sprite cola.
As the flavors develop across the middle palate, the tartness of the gose replaces malt sweetness for a tangy counterpart playing into the fruit flavors of lemon, lime, gooseberry, white grape and and green apple. Trending slightly winey, the flavors of lime peak in fruitiness just in time for the mild tequila flavors to give a pleasant spice to the late taste.
Light, crisp and off-cry, the gose finishes brisk, refreshing and with a brief aftertaste of dry burlap and sourdough once more. With the subtle yet peppy beer spending about a half hour in the tequila barrels allows it to pick up subtle nuances without dominating the lighter ale.

This is one of the rare ones that has the total as better than the individual parts as it makes no sense otherwise.
A lime Gose aged in Tequila barrels and still comes out at 5% ABV.
Served while volunteering at ArtPrize.
Poured light amber color and sported a nice ivory colored head. Compared to the others we were serving, this one was a dream.
The aroma was faint, but for me that is the norm. I did get some funky lime (which is a bad description, it was pleasant)
The taste shines. I got no Tequila but the lime is light and faintly accented by the salt. Some mellow malts and a touch of funk round it out.
The feel was a double take for me, at first I was put off by the body but then I recalled the BA aspect and was then impressed by how quaffable it is.
Another beer that shouldn’t be that is and it is good! I hope they package it.
