Look: light gold, fluffy head, no lacing
Smell: grapefruit, pine
Taste: grapefruit, pine, citrus zest
Feel: med light, well carbonated, lightly bitter
Overall: 4.7% abv 50 IBUs. Prominent grapefruit on the nose and taste. Some pine and citrus zest add to this refreshing session IPA. Another good brew from the variety pack at a lower abv. Cracked these down All Day at a family BBQ with ease. Pairs well with The Distance by Cake.

12 oz can at my son's home in Salem, VA The ale poured a hazy light amber with a small white head and no lacing. No surprise that the aroma of grapefruit and pale malts was detected. The flavors had more grapefruit with pine resin added in. Mild hop bitterness is noted. The ale has a light body and soft-average carbonation.

Can, poured into Hoegaarden hex glass.
If you like grapefruit, and if you like Genesee Ruby Red Grapefruit Kolsch (as I do both) then you will like this beer. Nice grapefruit flavor, not too sweet. This is best enjoyed ICE COLD. As it warms, the tartness becomes more pronounced, which I found to become a bit cloying at the bottom of the glass. Admittedly, I am nursing it right now, as it is the last beer of the night.
If you drink it ice cold, at a session beer rate of speed (as I normally do), it really is a delicious refreshing grapefruit beer.

I wish this beer was year round. It is the definition of refreshing. My only critique is that I wish there was more grapefruit flavor. I think this beer is one of the best options for a hot day summer beer.

From draft. No haze to speak of. Pleasant but pedestrian
