This beer is really fucking good. A nice thicc robust mouth feel and a pleasant taste follows every sip. A great beer for any cold winter day or night. Drinkability is key with this beer. I can see it pairing with many different types of foods or settings. Pick it up if you're keen.

I know this is a Winter Bock, but for me it drinks like a Guinness (which is always good.) Though not as soft as a nitro brew, the mouthfeel is very soft. Carbonation is low, and bitterness is almost non-existent. Full of flavor without being too heavy. May not be my first choice after mowing, but it's absolutely a good dinner beer year around.

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 11/01/24, so almost 2 months old.
Mixed look here. Attractive clear dark brown body. Small off white head shrinks to a broken ring. No lacing. Aroma is good and malty. On tasting, somewhat sweet, malty, hints of cocoa, spice, and hop. Finish is clean.
Overall, very good cold weather bock. Very drinkable. Nicely done Founders.

This beer pours a very dark copper color with a moderate tan head. The head dissipates rather quickly. It has a sweet, malty aroma. The taste is somewhat spicy. Most notable is the taste of chocolate with cinnamon undertones. This beer does leave a sticky feel to the palate. Overall, this is a very good seasonal beer!

Pours a hazel color with a thumb of beige head. Average-ish head retention & lacing
S: Toasty, brown bread, solid nose
T: Toasty, brown sugar, some caramel, plus woody hops up front. Hints of gingerbread mix in with the toastyness, pretty dry, some woody & leafy hops notes once this beer is warm. Finishes toasty, dry with some brown sugar, caramel & leafy hops
MF: Medium body, dialed back carbonation
A little different as Bocks go. To me almost a Marzen/Bock Hybrid, but plenty fun & drinkable

Poured into a wide mouth grip shaped goblet: color is dark amber, clear, head is light tan with fine bubbles and presents 1/4 inch thick, dissipates to just a ring along the glass sides.
Smell is caramel, toast, toffee, light cocoa, earth.
Taste is perfect bock - caramel, toast, toffee, hints of cocoa, just enough earthy and herbal hops to balance sweeter malts, very drinkable.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, low/moderate bitterness.
Overall a great bock - malt, not too sweet, subtle hops.
