Dark brown in color with a fingernail of beige on top. Heavy, soapy lacing is on the glass. The aroma is of dark malt and caramel. I’m tasting dark malt, caramel, and lightly toasted nuts. The mouth is smooth and approachable.

Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts. Taste is tangy and sweet. No hoppy bitterness. Enjoyable!

12oz bottle. Bottled 8-11-25. 5.0% ABV. 20 IBU. Per the website: Brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Wheat Malt. Hopped with Zuper Saazer.
Pours out to a dark brown, forming a limp light tan head with poor retention and no lacing. ~2.25 carbs or so, a little on the low side. Nose of pumpernickel rye, a little toast, a little black walnut, sweet tobacco and malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, crisp, clean, easy to drink. The taste is a nice recap of the nose. There is a really nice pumpernickle toast going on here which sits nicely on top of the malt. Some mild roasted notes but never harsh or astringent. It's not listed as an ingredient, but I have to suspect carafa or caramunich was used here. There is dark munich 30L, but not this dark. Bitterness is mild but well balanced. A little dark roast coffee in the finish and aftertaste. Full of flavor for 5.0% ABV. No off flavors or aromas. Really nicely brewed.
This is a really nice czech dark lager. Much better out of a glass than a bottle. I'm glad I picked up a 6'er of this and will go grab another one. Easy drinking but full of flavor. Thanks for brewing this Jeremy! Please keep doing special beers like this. Can I suggest a Grodziskie?

The pour is coffee colored and looks very dark brown in the glass. The light beige colored head is tall and dense which dissipates to a ring that stays all the way down, but no lacing.
The taste is certainly malt forward; more caramel and white bread than the biscuit flavor I generally prefer. Still, within the style guidelines and it is very tasty.
The feel is light and almost crisp, belying the dark appearance. Easy quaffing.
OA, I do appreciate the style and glad Kosmicki decided to brew some.
