A decent fruit beer, but a tad on the sweet side. I usually prefer fruit beers done as ales or wheat beer (see Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, I'll always love that guy). Light golden in color, nose has strong scents of grass and fresh ripe cherries. Mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth. Flavor is somewhat musty, with some mild maltiness and a blast of cherry flavor coming through at the end. JHBH has done better fruit beers. This is around average.
