Appears a murky, red toned amber with a small white head that quickly fades out into a fizzy cap. There is virtually no lacing to speak of.
Smell is of citrus, herbs, nuts, and spice. A tad bit one dimensional but expected from this style.
Taste is of the mentioned citrusy, herbal, hoppy brew highlighted with flashes of doughy yeast and a semi-dry rye flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, spicy, and moderately dry. The expected sourness from the rye wasn't there but there was a slight astringency that didn't seem abrasive, or out of control.
