The aroma of citrus fruits and cloves is accompanied by a tart and fresh taste with notes of hops, pine and grain. Dry and slightly bitter in the aftertaste.

Copenhagen 20/1-2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Svanekes usual design in yellow and blue.
Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is thin, sour and acidic. Light fruity sweetness in the background. Unripe berries, lemon and hints of grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and sour. Finish is semi dry.
Not a bad Saison from the Sunshine Island. It does not surprise in any way - but quite solid.
