12oz can from Toby. Clear amber. Aroma is malty with light berry notes. Blackberry a bit stronger in the taste aste, but had dry, light bitter finish.

Look - slight haze - light brown/copper - decent head - ok retention - stays active for quite some time
Smell - slight grassiness - nice tart dark fruit - some caramel - slight grain
Taste - a decent amount of blackberry without being overpowering - nice tang / almost like an amber - slight corn on the backend - slightly sweet at first but when the fruit fades, you get some wheat/corn/grain come in and it gets quite dry - nice balanced flavor - well done
Feel - feels a bit thin - decent activity but feels a bit flat
Overall - a great beer - its different for sure - not overly fruity but nice and fruity - I would have no problem adding this to the regular drinking rotation

this one looks a little sloppy from the can, but its not a bad beer, just less refined than the best of what we had in here at their b street location. its cloudy and pink and with some mild sediment to it, decent head though, and a nice nose. fresh berry, obviously blackberry, but maybe a cherry layer to it as well, a touch sweet, but natural enough, and without being overdosed in here. the base beer is pretty unremarkable though, its not as light and clean as i want a cream ale to be, and this runs into a way too low drinking limit for the style because of this. i like the flavor of the fruit, but its not a great cream ale overall. fine carbonation, but more body than it needs and its just not as much of a ripper as it should be. still, i think this place is rad, i think its great that they are canning, and like that this didnt seem artificial or cheap on the fruit side, the base beer just needs some work. my least favorite of the four i had in here, but definitely would be better in the summer than it was in the winter.

12 oz can dated 7/16/19 purchased in Cheyenne, WY
Calusa Snifter
Hazy dark golden color with a creamy cap of 1 finger, mostly firm but gradually receding to a fingernail leaving nearly perfect ring of hilly lace where the head once was with some blotches here and there.
Faint grain aromas and faint blackberry. Not much else.
Flavor brings fruity blackberry (although faint) and a wonderful base beer following with some good creamy sweetness. Honey notes, slight graham, some sweet corn, never too grainy or obtrusive, very balanced, no sharp hop getting in the way, very nice base and the blackberry builds on it.
Feel is crisp and creamy with a nice lingering creamy finish. No alcohol heat. Slight parch/starch/chalk on the finish.
Overall, a very tasty cream ale and the blackberry just adds to the experience. Well done, would have again.

On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.
Pours a clear reddish gold with an inch of foam. Does well with the lacing.
Smells of blackberries, creamy as in perhaps lactose.
Taste is fruity lightly tart blackberries, creamy, not overly complex, not overly tart or sweet. Hard to describe to any degree of certainty.
Light body with light carbonation.
Okay but I yearn not to have another.

Picked up right before closing on a recent work trip to Logan, Utah. Had never heard of Rooster’s Brewing Company, but was excited to try a blackberry cream ale. Beer description online read, “B Street Blackberry Cream Ale is a fruit forward beer with a cream ale base. Aromas of baking bread mix with blackberry puree for a refreshing crisp ale.”
Poured an amber semi-clear color with 1-to-2 fingers of white frothy head which thinned out rather quickly. Could see a few bubble lines coming up along the sides of the glass at a high rate of speed. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled blackberry candy, wheat, blackberry bread, vanilla and hints of cinnamon. More blackberry puree notes from the can than the glass. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste followed the nose, but not quite as good. Got artificial viney blackberry, grass, wheat, dry blackberry bread, vanilla and hints of cinnamon I think. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, dry finish. (Feel - 3.50)
This beer was good, but not great. A little too sweet and not quite enough pure blackberry notes for me. (Overall - 3.50)
