i feel like ive always liked these guys for the vibe and everything, more so than for their beer, but they have really stepped up their game in recent years. this is objectively great, and its probably the best of their lagers i have had so far, although the several i had recently were all very good. this one is a beauty for summer though, pretty clear blonde colored with a decent white head on it from the tap and a nose of floral honey, sweet earthy grain, and citrusy hops and mexican lager yeast, exactly what i want from the style. this is done with flaked corn and it adds a lot of flavor, more than the malt profile of most of these carry, but without ever being heavy from it. i love that i can taste so much from the yeast too, not enough of these bring that, and the new school rather than noble hop profile on the finish is pleasant, lemony and clean rather than grassy and bitter or spicy, although i super dig saaz in these too, this is just a little different because of the fruity hops at the end, but they marry great with the corn and the yeast, and this ends up being crazy refreshing and drinkable, effervescent on the carbonation too, just so clean and satisfying. killer with spicy food too. they should start selling this one in idaho too, its bomb for summer!

Canned April 5th 2022. From Beer Drop.
It pours a pale gold with a healthy head of foam, good lacing.
Smells grainy, malty, with some mild hoppy bitterness.
Taste has some caramel malt, grainy but without any corn, mild grassy bitterness.
Good mouthfeel, good beer.

12 oz can from the source in Ogden.
Pours light and with a slight haze, briefly lasting off white cap and film. Leaves quality looking fine sheeting on the glass.
Minimal interest on the sniff.
Bready malts abound, snappy and citric finish. Worthy lager to wash down some tasty and spicy chow...worth a try...
