quality lighter lager here for spring, the hops tastes modern and not very bitter, lush and citrusy and with a honeydew note, all on the finish, floral and even honey-like at times, this has more flavor than most of its peers but remains super drinkable because its so dry, good carbonation here too. close to clear blonde brew with an average white head from the tap. hints of dried flowers, ripe melon, and maybe a limey note too in the nose, perhaps some galaxy hops or something herbal, ella, i dont know, seems southern hemisphere even though its mild overall. more of a familiar saaz type note in the taste, right on the swallow, and a little pop of bitterness, more than i could smell but not enough to turn any thirsty drinkers off. i like the subtle ways this is unique, even if it still is just a yellow beer, its got just enough going on to keep my attention, which is hard to do in this style. definitely a summery quencher, does well in hot weather, but also isnt so light that it only works in the summer either, a very enjoyable quaff overall, these guys have upped their lager game!
