Copenhagen 8/6 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Totem pole like stylized Owl-face on the can.
Pours clear, golden yellow with a mid-sized, dense white head. Stable. Settles as 1 cm thick, soft layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong, sweet and fruity odor and lighter citric notes. Peach and guava. Sweet pale malts. A bit of lemon and citrus.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly strong citric sourness. Aftertaste is sourish bitter. A bit thin. Lingers shortly. Finish is watery.
Nice fruity nose but a bit thin in flavor. Like a watermelon.

Clearly has Guava fruit juice in, sweet and light, will be very refreshing ona hot day. Mouthfeel is very thin and flavour disappears quickly to nothing. Fairly low carbonation. Declines to tasting like a flavoured sparkling water by the end.

500ml Can from Sainsburys (£2.30):
An incredibly light & clear straw colour with a 1cm, foamy white head that holds well. The nose is sharp to start with some citrus & lemon, a faintly tropical nose, floral finish & some guava but not much. The taste is fresh & floral too with strawberry, guava & some sweetness. It's light to medium bodied, has lighter carbonation that expected & is easy to drink too.
