Poured from a bottle. Reddish copper in color with a tan head. Smells of malt, caramel and a slight alcohol hint. Taste includes bread, caramel, dark fruit and very slight alcohol flavor at the end. Very smooth and full bodied. Very good.

500 ml bottle from the old Capital market in Salem OR.
$3.99
Bought because i have never had a beer from Lithuania.
Surprisingly pours a very attractive clover honey red, with a great looking thick and frothy light tan head..a great looking brew.
Aromas of grassy hops, caramel and straw..nice actually.
Taste very honeyish/caramel. Small hop bite a little tinge of alcohol in the end..but its well integrated.
Lovely mouth feel. Smooth/silky yet ends dryish.
This is a very nice beer ..

Look: Rich, semi-clear dark red in color and my vigorous pour yields an off-white head that settles to a lid and leaves good lacing
Aroma: Warm brown bread, a little toffee, earthy notes, cereal grains, and light honey and floral notes
Taste: Whoa. Huge and layered bready malt notes flood onto the palate initially, soon followed by waves of floral and toffee. More breadiness surfaces in the middle and light earthiness, honey, and more brown bread finish it out
Mouthfeel: Full but lighter than the flavor depth and ABV (8.2%) would suggest, clean throughout, and very clean and even a little bit crisp on the finish
Overall: I’m digging this quite a bit for the random purchase that it was. My go-to local shop for imports had it in as new and it’s from Lithuania which was enough for me to get it to try. No info on the bottle as to what is even is but it is rich and malty plus everything about its feel and finish leave me no doubt that it’s a lager. Bock, strong lager – who knows but it’s good and dangerously light feeling for the 8.2% ABV. Tasty and cool to try a beer from a country I’ve never had a beer from
