Poured out of a bottle (local - live near Holyoake, Mass) into glass.
Appearance - Straw pale yellow with half inch head; not much lacing down the glass side.
Smell - Tangy, floral notes of fresh grass.
Taste - Lager, but with a nice hoppish push.
Overall - Great local lager; refreshing with a nice knock at the end.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on January 11, 2014.
The color is pale yellow with a huge, puffy white head. Busy carbonation.
The brewery boasts that this is a hopped lager and on the nose I do get a grassy hop character along with grains and some lemon zest.
Light to medium body.
The taste begins with barley grains but it tends to be more sour that refreshing. There is a lingering grassy hop note at the finish.
