On tap at the Rackhouse, watching LSU-'Bama (quite the defense!)
Pours a light orange, semi-cloudy and semi-bright. No head presented, could be the pour. No lacing. Swirling brought moderate foam back.
Aroma is orange zest dominant. Some spices kick in like coriander and clove. Mostly, this is a zesty citrus with hints of sweet bread.
Flavors are citrus centered. Orange and persimmon. The spices provide kick and zing. A bit minty. Seems a bit syrupy in the middle to end. A nice beer, but for DD standards it's "just ok".

Fruity, sharp, and well hopped. Lots of the Belgian yeasty and funky flavors. Aromatic with spicy notes. Fairly hoppy at 35 IBU. Rich and full of flavor. Quite tangy on the tongue with a pleasant full mouthfeel. Pineapple and butterscotch with a hint of sharp cheese. Complexity seems to defy any easy labelling of flavors. Definitely worth trying but dangerously strong.
