I love Oktoberfests, and while this one wasn't quite as good as my favorites, it still stacked up fairly well. The sweetness and spice were just a bit more subtle in this beer, whereas I prefer a very intense flavor in this style. But I'd get this one again for sure. Another solid offering from Dry Dock, and nice to have it widely available in cans as well.

12 oz. Can
Pours a pretty nice amberish color, nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger light tan head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, slight spice. The taste is malty, spicy. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Might be my new favorite Marzen. I'm delighted to see it in a can. The color of a copper penny, smell of woody toast, tastes of malt, brown sugar, a medium body but delightful going down. I love fall.
