On tap at Cheeky Monk Colfax the beer arrives in a CM tulip a hazy golden straw color with a nice 2.5 finger white head, good retention, excellent lacing. The nose is that of brett funk, citrus lemon and grapefruit, saison yeast, and an underlying biscuit grain. The flavor follows suit with an impressive blend of brett funk, saison yeast, mild bitterness, a kiss of citrus fruitiness, and a hint of spice. Very, very good. Finishes with a mild bitterness coupled with a mild brett funk and lasting citrus tart. Lighter bodied especially considering the abv. Crisp and clean. Overall, this is a phenomenal beer. I can't wait to find more. Highly recommended.
