on tap poured into a pint glass. pours a brownish amber color with a single finger of hite head that dissipates quickly leaving moderate lacings.

aroma is mildly hoppy, with a grassy character and a distant fruit base. a distant note of caramel malt is detectable after a bit of warming.

taste is of mild and mellow hops, with the same distant fruit base and a more pronounced caramel malt, though still in the background.

mouthfeel is mildly bitter with a medium body and a smooth texture. finishes dry with residual hops.

drinkablility is decent. this is a mild and somewhat weak IPA, without much hop character. what little hops are there work to bitter the finish, and provide little for the palate. leaves a bit to be desired.

Darker mohogany bronze in color with a shorter off white head. Somewhat hazy and minimal lacing.

Aroma was of honey and a bit of herbal pineyness. A bit spicy as well.

Taste had moderate malt backing but it was mostly on the sweet side and balancing to the hoppiness. Almost like a caramel brown sugar sweetness. The hops dominate but they're not really bitter. More of a flavoring agent. A restrained pine aspect dominates. Finish is nearly nonexistent. The great hop flavors die in the end.

Smooth body but the malt base could maybe be sturdier and the hops could maybe have a bit more resinous bitterness. But really that's just personal preference and this beer was quite enjoyable.

Pint was finished with ease and I could easily drink quite a few of these and still enjoy them. Well done.
