From the tap at the brewery, it pours a nice clear light yellow golden color with a nice white head . The nose and mouth get a nice fresh tasting light in malty flavor that is pleasant and easy to drink. It tasted really good on this overly warm day in June!

Very clear with lots of fine carbonation bubbles with a crisp head and some lacework.
The smell is lovely and delicate, defined by a strong dose of grainy malt, a tea-like and kind of dusty touch of hops, and many fruity notes (apple and maybe peach, banana).
The taste has the same on offer, but with a bigger impact. Right after the malty sweetness comes up, it gets a bit salty and hoppy, finishing in a dry and pleasantly bitter fashion.
The feel is very soft and rounded. Gentle and almost subdued carbonation and a body tending towards medium.
This one is very refreshing and fruity; and a pleasure to drink.

Sampled on-tap at the brewery pub in Forchheim.
This Export Hell poured a clear, gold color with fluffy, white foam that persisted. The smell was a faint malty aroma. The taste was mildly malty with a clean, dry, bready finish. Very light hoppiness overall. There was a hint of malt sweetness in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry with medium body and moderate carbonation. A light, bready malt flavor lingered in the aftertaste. This was a pretty good Export lager.

Mildly sweet aroma threw me at first, but I think I've narrowed it down to Raspberry yogurt. Lightly sweet malt in the flavor, faint yet very astringent hop tea, and berries again. Not sure where the berries are coming from, and they are pretty reserved as the flavor and aroma of this beer are laid back, but the berries are there. The yogurt aspect of the aroma is a bit off-putting, but the flavor is fine. Ok, so anyway on to the rest of the beer. Short, dense, bright white head faded quickly to a thin film leaving a few strips of lace. Clear, deep golden beer looks good. Watery mouthfeel is missing any kind of bite from the hops. In fact, the hops are pretty much missing from this beer unless I really, really concentrate. A funky beer, but drinkable. In a blind tasting I'd probably guess American Wheat Ale with some kind of berry flavoring, but my second guess would be Export Lager (not really).

BB 29-11-05. Nice head and a bright pale golden beercollor. nose is lots of palemalts, litle hops and a litle diacethyl. Shows litle cardboard and creamyness by oxidation but probably cause of age though it has been kept in the fridge most of the time. Clean yeastnote with it makes it a good overall impression by nose. Taste is full malted, creamy and litle sweet with good but not overdone bitterness. Fine and balanced german brew that's well worth a try if you are into German lagers.

Lasting creamy head on a clear golden color body. The smell is fruity and floral, some fermenting fruits, and a light graininess, reminding me of an oatmeal soup.
The taste is fruity too, with apples and lemon notes and a slightly sour grapefruity aftertaste. Mouthfeel is smooth and round, creamy, with an impression of a soft malty mattress in the mouth. Pretty nice offering from Hebendanz.
