Vigorous pour produced a tiny white head that faded quickly. Hazy golden beer appears lifeless. The aroma is full of butterscotch with bits of nuts and maybe some underlying apricots/apples. I don't mind a little diacetyl, but this is quite potent and nothing about this beer says lager. The flavor is even more fruity with lots of apricot and pear along with a thick coating of butterscotch. The lack of carbonation really allows the flavors to linger and ravage your tongue. It doesn't taste like a light beer, but then again it tastes like a bad normal beer, which isn't good.
