Large white head, moderate retention. Bready nose, little hop presence. Solid bready/malt presence, low level of earthy hops, med-lo bitterness. Medium body, low carb level. Finishes with lingering malt notes. Overall pleasant and sessionable

This was the last Bier at my last stop of my last day in Bamberg - on 30SEP21.... Cost for a 0.5l pour was €3.70....
Served in the standard Willi Becher glass.... It was a lovely, clear, rich amber color. Had sparse carbo and a fluffy, creamy, off-white head. Ebbed fast but left great lacing. Had a bready, toasty nose, with light caramel. Was solidly medium for body, and rather smooth.
Flavor? More caramel plus some subtle toffee. Nicely malt-based! Was semi-sweet, with a smidge of earthy, spicy hopping. Solid in the malt category, and plenty satisfying.... Prosit!!
