Sampled on tap, poured into a pint glass at Elijah's on the riverfront in Wilmington.
Poured a pale yellow with a good amount of carbonation in the glass itself. No real retention and some faint clings of lace. Very weak wheat aromas.
Flavor was all kinds of off. Had some metallic sourness that I originally thought was due to a bad tap. Talked to several locals afterwards, who informed me with sullen faces, "no, that's what it tastes like." Some almost fake strawberry syrup on the finish. Felt more like a macro lager spiked with some strawberry syrup.
Clingy feel on the tongue afterwards. Not really drinkable, only really finished it to force down the poorly cooked rice at the restaurant.
