a clean and refreshing mexican lager here, seems like these guys have a pretty good handle on a lot of styles, i have liked all i have had from them so far, and they are clearly covering quite a bit of ground. this one is excellent for the hot weather, with a super light body, a dry and crisp complexion to it, and just a little bit of character from the mexican lager yeast that i like so much, dried flowers, fresh lime, and a little crackery grain aspect, well rounded and majorly clean and bright. i like how dry and well carbonated this is, really almost more refreshing than flavorful, but i like a light lager like this in a summertime context, and its quality beer, nowhere for flaws to hide in something like this, and there arent any here. they served this one with a lime, which normally isnt my thing, but it gives this an additional refreshing pop and works so well with the mexican yeast. there is no limit to how many of these i could drink on a hot day if left to my own devices, which really is the mark of a good mexican lager. light and easy, clean and satisfying.
