This base Paulaner Hefe was very delicious, great golden colored brew with a sweet smell that translated to the tongue as well. Mouthfeel was well carbonated, crisp, and light-bodied. Truly enjoyed this Paulaner - on the can it says it's the #1 hefe in Germany - I can believe it...

Banana, yeast and some kind of metal in the aroma. The flavor is dominated by banana, bubble gum and a stale bitterness.
