Generally, SLO Brew accomplished what it intended with this beer. Nothing terribly special, but it has a good feel with a classic Mexican lager feel. Smell was somewhat lacking, and the head dissipated quickly. Tasted decent, but not much beyond the taste of "bread water." Probably would be a hit at a Cal Poly SLO frat party or something, but I wouldn't seek this beer out unless you're buying for a general party audience.

I give this beer a 4 across the board; not for originality but for accomplishing what they set out to do. It's a Mexican style lager that's crisp, light, and refreshing. Its like they got a Pacifico and improved it. This beer is great to take to a party as it's sure to have mass appeal.
