From 04/08/14 notes. Had on tap at The Jeffrey in NYC. 12 oz. pour.
a - Pours a deep reddish brown color with one inch of off white head and moderate to high carbonation evident. Looks darker than I would have expected, I guess because of the barrel and cherries.
s - Smells of tart cherries, sour fruits, oak, vinegar, sour wineand some very light funk. Very nice nose, the sour cherries shine through nicely.
t - Tastes of more sour cherries, tart fruity malts, funk, oak, spice, cinnamon, floral notes, and earthy notes. Light inegar. Not too tart, but some definite sourness and a lot cherries...awesome.
m - Light body that is crisp and low to moderate carbonation. Easy to drink.
o - Overall a great berlinerweiss; love the addition of cherries to the mix. Not overly funky or sour but easy to drink and delicious. Highly recommended.

Served on cask at Winking Lizard's 2014 Cask Festival in Bedford Heights, OH. Michigan cherries were used in the making of this fantastic brew.
A - murky yellow with a very thin head. Some bubbles.
S - nice funk, but not over the top
T - Crisp, funky and very tart with a dry finish. Cherries shine through and worked great. Excellent.
M - Cask.
O - I wasn't expecting much and this beer blew me away. Had several pours throughout the afternoon. Very nice beer. Not exactly true to the Berliner Weisse style, but a great American/Wild Ale version nonetheless. Really packed a nice sour punch. Great job Thirsty Dog! Please make more!
