Served from the bottle into a shaker glass.

A- Poured a dark reddish brown with a very small off-white head that left no lace.

S- Brown sugar, nutty, and bready notes. Smells like a pretty good and traditional brown ale.

T- Light nutty and bready flavors, but overall it tastes watery.

M- Very thin and light bodied, fizzy carbonation, and watery.

O- It smelled like a pretty good brown ale, but the mouthfeel and flavor are lacking.

Appearance - Deep reddish brown. Very transparent (not on a personal level). Small tan head, but hangs around.

Aroma - Not much here. Some roasted caramel malt and roasted nuts

Taste - Better than aroma, but still kind of weak. Slightly nutty, toffee, kind of sweet

Feel - Pretty thin. A little too much carbonation.

Overall - Very average brown ale. Not bad, but nothing I would grab again. One of my least favorite offerings from a very solid brewery.

12 oz bottle.
Pours clear brown with a decent head.

If refrigerated, this must be allowed to warm a bit whereupon it has a pleasing malty aroma and a relatively rich malty flavor. Hnts of toffee, brown sugar and dark fruits but very good bitter-sweet balance.

Feel: rather lively.

O: recommended.

This is a good example of a style I am not overly fond of.

It pours pretty brown with nice lace. The aroma is also good for the style. The taste starts off ok but seems to get bland after a while. It is a nice easy drinking balance. Not to malty and sweet.

The aftertaste is clean. Overall this brew started out good but does not really hold up ell, but it is very sessionable.

from a 12 oz bottle, this brown ale pours a very light reddish brown clear color with an off
white head of foam that dies down to nice pools and light lacing. The nose is light caramel
malts and a very light nutty aroma mixed with a bit of hops. The taste is extremely nutty,
almost a walnut like taste with a roasty background, very little sweetness to it. Hops keep
it lively on the mouthfell with HIGH amounts of carbonation. A solid session ale. Light
bittering on the aftertaste. Decent.
