12 oz bottle served in a lager glass. 6.5% ABV / IBU = 50.
Pours hazy amber with a modest head that quickly settles to a thin top coat. A thin coat of sediment remained bonded to the bottom of the bottle; clearly an unfiltered beer.
This is a single hop (Comet, of course) IPA that is then dry hopped with four other varieties. Mild bitterness suggests more than average malts for style. Plenty of fruity hop notes in the flavor; the aroma seems just plain fruity.
Good, smooth mouthfeel with medium carbonation.
O: good beginner IPA and a good one for anyone who really likes the fruity profiles of these hops.

Poured into a Due South Brewing Co. No readable freshness date.
A- Pours a murky dark amber color with a 1/4 inch off-white head that doesn't retain long before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a circular pattern of wispy surface foam.
Semi-resilient lacing leaves small clots behind.
S- Grainy with some mild earthy hop character.
T- Piney, moderately bitter plus a sturdy malt backbone. Hop flavor is very earthy with very little going on. In that way, it's very drinkable but hardly interesting.
M- Limp, almost watery with medium-low carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- Another pretty meh IPA from Thirsty Dog. I don't understand why both this and Citra Dog are so hazy but ends up having less flavor than a clear IPA.
