Had this on tap at the brewery, from notes. Pours a dark golden color with a medium head that falls fast and doesn't leave much lacing on the glass. The aroma had citrus and some English hops. The flavor was very balanced with some citrus hops then some English hops following up. Very tasty. The mouthfeel is moderate and the drinkability is good. Enjoyable brew.

Took the taste test..at .50 per sample. $$$ well spent.

A decent blonde ale. Very nice red color and very appetizing smell. It was full of flavor, with a distinct hop noteand went down very quickly. My only complaint was this was a very sweet beer with an almost syrupy consistency, like too much sugar in your iced tea. Still, a decent beverage that I'd probably get a pint to start before having more challenging tastes with food.

Dark golden cloudy liquid, with a small thin foamy head. The head did not stay around very long. Smell is slightly citrus, not much else. Taste was maybe too balanced, there was some sweet maltiness, however not much hops to counteract. There was a small amount of bitterness, with some citrus hop flavor and a bit of spice. Very light on the carbonation, and fairly light bodied. With no carbonation, this seemed almost syrupy. It wasn't horrible, but other selections here are certainly better.

Served as a sample at Thirsty Dog in Akron. The color was copper, with a wispy white head. The smell was a very citrusy Goldings hoppiness. The taste is dominated by citrus hops, though the amber malt in the back is noticable. Mouthfeel is average. As for drinkability, could have quite a few.

A nice pale ale, with a good choice of hop in it, and this is basically what a local beer I regret wants to be (Church's Pipe Organ Pale Ale). Quite good, and certainly one I'll have again if I get back to Thirsty Dog.

Nice amber, little head (I question the glasses that day, staff didn't seem very enthused), nice lace. Full malty nose, no detectable hop aroma. Starts with a medium bodied malty sweetness with a crisp Kent Golding type of dry hop flavor (but not hop bite), making it finish lighter and clean. This tastes like a lot of my beers when I draw off a sample at bottleing. I could put away quite a few of these.

This is a highly hopped APA and it is nicely balanced against the malt. A nice looking amber brew with an ivory head and decent lacing. The flavor finishes with hops and the hops are in the nose. The tendency is toward the citrus side of the hop element. A very nice brew.

Lasting hops flavor and good malt balance. Definitely different than the typical APA in the ratio of malt in the mix. Worth another try. Thirsty Dog's beers tend to get better as they get darker.

Gold color with lively carbonation. Floral/spicy hops aroma from dry hopping, very much in the APA style. Very firm, and the hops faded at the very end for a mild finish. Very well executed.
