750ml bottle poured into a pils glass
A: Light yellow with a 1.5 finger head and tons of little bubbles
S: Bready, generic malt, a hint of crispness from the hops
T: Nails the pils style. Light malt, some bread and a bit of bitterness from the hops
M: Light-bodied, crisp and pleasant carbonation
O: Well done, SAAZ! Obviously a style that makes it difficult to hide imperfections and there are none here. I hope this resurfaces as a summer regular from Thirsty Dog

At this point in my beer life I absolutely despise Pilsners and maybe I should stop making blanket assumptions and try to expand my love of all QUALITY beer sometime.

"A pre-prohibition pilsner" brewed for the Society of Akron Area Zymurgists.Pours a light straw color into a pilsner with a nice blooming bone white head atop that clings to the glass, alot of tiny bubbles.Lightly toasted bread and some iron in the nose, quite clean actually.Quit dry on the palate with some toasted bread and that iron tinge, noticeable spicey saaz hops in the finish.A nice refreshing pilsner that's elegant and easy to drink.
