I had this beer at the Dayton Thirsty Dog. It was their anniversary offering and only available on cask. Review is from notes
Has a murky amber almost auburn color with a small sign of carbonation and slight lacing. Aroma is hard at first but eventually I get a sharp pineyness, some citric qualities, and then some alcohol burn. Taste is rather soft because of the cask me thinks but also seems a bit watery for what I'm used to. The spicy rye flavor is there but not as strong as the Founder's offerings and the hops seem very English in nature. I like my Rye beers with hops that are more bitter and have a higher alpha acid than the hops here. Grain huskiness in the finish. Finish lingers in spicyness. Decent beer.
