A- deep redish brown with a nice fluffy white head.
S- strong hop and clove smell with some hints of alcohol.
T- hints of spices and clove. finsh has a strong, but not overpowering hop presence. alcohol is well hidden,
M- thick and creamy mouthfeel with extreme smoothness.
D- suprising this is very easy to drink. the taste is so smooth and the alcohol is so well hidden that it could be dangerous.
overall- this is my favorite offering from thirsty dog. I think they just recently started offering it and im glad they did. ive since picked up a jug of it since i liked it so much
i asked the waitress what the alcohol % was, but she didnt really know. she asked the bar tender and they "guessed" about 11-12%. This was based on comparisons to the other beers they make so i dont know how reliable that is.
definitely go try this out before its too late because while i was in the brewpub i was informed that they sold the brewery to a place in st louis and therefore they will no longer make beer there.
