Hazy yellow, small head, minimal lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and other citrus. Taste is more subdued than I expected maybe because I am still a west coast hop addict. Mouthfeel is medium with light carbonation.

Pours golden, pineapple colored. Excellent fine lacing. Smacks your nose with citrus and yeast.
High IBU flavor and plenty malty. Light bodied and chuggable. Once your palate adjusts to the delicious bitter taste, it becomes a wondrous brew.
I will take this over a Mispillion River Pineapple Express--Which was heavier on the pineapple IPA flavor, brewed with lactose, and far less chuggable.

12 oz bottle in a pint glass in Dublin Ohio. 21 Feb. 2018 bottling date.
Pours pale amber with a decent white head.
I've had a few pineapple beers that I've really enjoyed, and I'm a fan of Thirsty Dog, but this Thirsty Dog Pineapple IPA is a bit disappointing. In fairness, it is certainly difficult, at best, to make fresh pineapple shine in an appropriately hoppy IPA (versus, say a wheat beer or even a pale ale). The ale has some sweet pineapple notes mixed with the dominant, dank-piney hops. Not a bad effort, but could probably be improved with a more 'tropical' hop mix.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has some fine particulates visible floating in suspension. There is a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin film of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of toffee and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste starts out as being rather malty—almost like an Extra Special Bitter—and finishes with notes of pineapples.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is present.
O: I wasn't quite expecting what I got in the smell and taste of this beer as it tasted more like an ESB with some pineapple juice added. The pineapple could have shined through more if a lighter malt such as a pilsener was used.

Served in-tapping a pint glass, this beer draws a clear, medium golden color with a thick white head when first served that settles eventually to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass, along with some decent lacing. Aromas of some bready malts with a bit of caramel sweetness that gives way to pineapple, citrus, and piney hops. The taste is pretty much the same with some slightly toasted caramel sweet and bready malts that’s followed fairly quickly by citrus, pineapple, and pineybhops with a slight hint of spice. The pineapple adds a unique angle to the hop flavor profile I feel. Has a crisp, mainly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly dry aftertaste. An interesting take on this style, and a good beer here all around.

I've had a few beers in my time, but I am pretty sure I've never had one with pineapple in it (maybe I have). Now I definitely have. I like pineapple, and I like AIPA's, so I like this. I knew I would.
It pours a lovely yellow AIPA with pineapple color - just what you'd expect - with nice fine fizz. The aroma is clean but subdued, and it definitely has hints of the pineapple. The taste similarly is clean and balanced with a nice, tasteful extra pineapple flavor. Unlike some citrus (grapefruit), pineapple doesn't add to the bitterness, it balances more towards sweetness, but it still compliments the AIPA well. The aftertaste is refreshing, with just a bit of body and bite.
Highly recommended, A cool brew from a cool local brewer.

Solid IPA with a great nose and an IPA bite. Individual taste makes me enjoy their Blood Hound Orange more, but pineapple mavens are sure to love this beer.

Somewhat hazy pale gold with a moderately dense, uneven white foam blanket.
Smell is pretty close to piña colada, and that translates to tons of fresh pineapple in taste, as well as a nougaty and almost coconutty sort of malt, which continues that mind trick from the aroma.
The medium body has just enough light carbonation, finishing semi-wet.
