Pours pale golden and very clear with a towering, semi-durable, white head.
Moderately complex mix of hops dominate both the aroma and the flavor. Dank and grassy with a subtle touch of citrus. Moderate-mild bitterness with good balance.
Medium-light body with lively, medium-high carbonation.

Dog Days Ale brewed by Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, with an ABV of 5.65% This Ale pours out of a 12oz glass bottle into a pint beer glass, a nice golden amber color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is Rich with sweetness, mixed with grians and malts. You also pick up a nice amount of hop bitterness in the smell as well. So far Dog Days Ale is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up a nice amount of hop bitterness at first then sweetness. The end notes are earthy grains and malts. This is a well put together Ale. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a super nice balance to it. The body of Dog Days Ale is a soild medium. This brew would go nice with dinner or any meal. The mouth feel is Bold, Hoppy, Rich, Clean, Smooth, And Refreshing. Overall I am going to give this ale soild 4 out of 5. I Would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity.
