Towpath Terrier IPA brewed by Thirsty Dog Brewing Company, with an ABV of 5.50% This American IPA pours out if a 12oz can into a pint beer glass. The color is a deep amber color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich malts an grains an a slight roasted goodness. There is a some nice mild hop bitterness in the smell as well. Was kinda looking for more hop bitterness in the smell. So far Towpath Terrier IPA is a nice inviting brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You pick up nutty Roasted flavors mixed with other grains an malts. Mirror on the hop bitterness. The body of this brew, is a solid medium. There is nothing overpowering about this brew, it has a real nice balance to. The mouth feel is Bold, Rich, Clean, Smooth, and Refreshing. Overall I am going to give Towpath Terrier IPA, a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again givin the opportunity too.
