Not as cloudy of the representative style but nice sweet flavor. A good beer for the neophyte. 5.2% ABV. 12.0 Degree Plato. 10 IBU.

I just had this on tap a little bit ago and it is FANTASTIC.

It pours an opaque yellow/orange with a thin head that stuck around for the entire drink

The taste is very banana forward; true to the style. Its crisp and refreshing. Perfect for the summer. I could drink this all day.

It had a slightly thick mouthfeel witch I love in beer.

I didn't rate the smell because honestly I dont remeber the smell other than it was a great first sniff. (So ignore the smell score)

This is honestly one of the strongest Hefeweizens ive ever had.

Pale straw colored and hazy. white full head dwindles quickly to wisps. Clove and banana smell with a hint of chalk. The taste is roughly the same with a hint of hop bitterness. Light and refreshing and very tingly with carbonation. Overall, it's drinkable but forgetable.

Hazy, yellow color. Huge, white head. Aroma of cloves, banana, and wheat malt as expected. Sweet, malty, and yeasty taste. Maybe too sweet, but still drinkable.

Love this wheat as a canvas to add lime, lemon, orange or any citrus. I like wheats and this is one of my favorites. A classic beer that holds its own and I come back to time and again.

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 7/24/2018. Pours moderately hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very good hefeweizen. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the minimally bitter/spicy/drying finish. Nicely flavorful for the ABV. Well balanced classic German yeast complexity and pale/wheat malts; with mild noble hop presence. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into one of my weizen glasses, this beer pours a fairly cloudy/hazy light to medium golden color with a very fluffy white head that's well over an inch thick when first poured that settles to a solid 1/2 inch a few minutes after being poured with excellent lacing. Aromas of some bready, caramel malt sweetness along with wheat and certainly some banana notes, clove, and just a bit of a candy like sweetness. The taste is pretty much the same. with some bready, caramel malt sweetness notes along with banana, clove, and wheat hints along with a bit of a candy like sweetness. Flavor profile is pretty spot on for this style. No real discernible hop present, but that's okay here of course. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in the way good beer ought to be. Has a clean finish. A very refreshing beer for this hot and fairly humid summer weather in Cleveland right now.

Whippet Wheat | Thirsty Dog Brewing Company. Poured from the bottle into a pint glass, the head's three fingers thick, with webbed lacing, and a hazed medium gold body.

I smell banana esters, clove, and bubblegum. Hard to mess up a hefe.

Tastes like a slightly boozy version of the smell. More of a trippel flavor IMO. Still good regardless...

Medium-light mouthfeel with fair carbonation.

I'll go ahead and give Whippet Wheat | Thirsty Dog Brewing Company a 4.

Pale straw in color. Very faint aroma. Taste was of mild citrus. Clean and crisp finish. Very refreshing. Over all a well made beer. One of my favorite beers from Ohio.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild wheat and graininess, very little aroma. Taste is wheat, banana, lemons, hints of green apples at the finish. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.
