Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/4 inch head. Smell is of coffee, roasted malts. Taste follows the aroma, coffee is very strong. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little imperial pours a rich coal black with a nice head of
tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and displays some very nice
lacing. Nose of HEAVY coffee, char, brulee, and dark seared fruit with dark
cocoa. Flavors surpass the nose with char, roast, rich coffee, subtle smoke,
and dark fruits of blackberry and raspberry amongst dark bakers chocolate.
Mouth feel is medium full leaning towards full, rich, very coating, medium
light carbonation, and finishing with a solid bitter malt note that at points
is a hair thin to watery which is odd for this brew,
Overall, this is solid but the char and roast of the coffee and malt is a touch
much. Still good for the coffee lovers.
Cheers

16 ounce can, born on 12.26.23 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around for a long time. There's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee dark chocolate, roasted malt, and some caramel. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt, dark bread and a bit of anise noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's creamy and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, definitely worth trying especially if you like coffee imperial stouts!

16 FL. OZ. can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with several inches of mocha head that leaves copious lacing.
Coffee and roasted malt are the aromas I detect.
Coffee, roasted malt, hints of chocolate.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Siberian Night was my first Russian imperial stout. I will always have a special place in my liver for it. I was super excited to see the coffee variant. It failed to meet my romanticized expectations. 100% on me

9% and new to their canned line, this Russian imperial stout was poured from a pint can. The head on this variant was nice but dissipated more quickly than the standard and there was also less lacing. Nose is all about the coffee with background char. Delightful.
The malty roastiness remains similar to the base stout, but the favor is supported by a bold coffee flavor. The flavor has a similar hoppiness, but the finish is a bit smoother here and a bit drier in the original . Perhaps a glimpse of chocolate in the finish. Mouthfeel is appropriate to the category but is not heavy.
Overall a good, safe variant of a solid stout.

Canned on 2/14/22. 16oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours almost black; khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and nice lacing.
The aromas are coffee forward. Some milk and chocolate. Malts are there.
The flavors are coffee forward. Strong roasted black coffee notes. Lots of dark chocolate. Subtle hints of milk. Some dark fruits. Some molasses. Mild hints of anise in the mix. Solid bitterness. Lower sweetness. Malts do their thing. Mild warmth in the finish.
Mouthfeel is full-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, smooth, and slightly fluffy.
This is a really nice coffee stout. Strong coffee flavors. Siberian Night is a classic Russian Imperial Stout and the addition of coffee definitely doesn't hurt. Thirsty Dog did a really nice job and definitely have a winner with this one. I feel like my "numerical score" should be higher. I really like it. Well done.

I made a new entry for this because it seems new and is not bourbon barrel aged like the other one with coffee. Anyways not groundbreaking but very well executed
