This is an interesting blend from the folks at Thirsty Dog, creatively blending 2 of their stronger brews to create a unique brew with its own persona. The blend gives a nice balance between the flavors, but puts out a bit of a confused aroma. The overall effect is quite drinkable, but not true to any specific style. Interesting.

This beer is a blend of Thirsty Dog's Old Leghumper (Stout)and Golding's Retriever (APA). A good mixture and a good balance of the two styles present in this beer. The hops in the Pale Ale complement the sweetness in the Stout. Well done.
