Had this new TD Bicentennial Old Ale at the Cuyahoga Falls Frozen River Fest; on draft to start with, and this will be available in bottles in February.
Decent appearance, nice darkish brown with minimal head
Smell is decent; bready and malty, not much hop presence at all in this beer
Taste: not bad, nothing spectacular, tastes like many of the winter warmers I was drinking over the holidays; big chocolate maltiness, drak fruit, and bready..
Mouthfeel is not bad, fairly full bodied, slight taste of alcohol, but not too much so for this style of beer
Overall; a decent Thirsty Dog offering to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the city of Cuyahoga Falls OH; they are also doing another brew for them later in the year (August); would buy this in a 6 pk if the price is not too crazy, when it comes out in bottles in a few weeks.
