From Untappd and, I presume, the micros website--
All hail the King! Kong(e) – the eighth wonder of the world!
Brewed with Norwegian Kveik Voss ‘super yeast’ and a mountain of hops including Cascade, Eclipse and Mosaic, King Konge Norwegian Hazy IPA is high in hop flavour, and heavy on the haze.
Malts: Pale, Wheat Malt, Oats, Carapils, Rice Hulls
Hops: Cascade, Eclipse, Mosaic, Cryo Mosaic
Yeast: AEB Voss Kveik

A nice juicy one.
Glad to add this because it forced me to think about if NEIPA stands for Norwegian... but it doesn't. It's just where some of the hops come from. And probably, the choice of hops sets King Konge apart from the pack crowded into this style.
King Konge doesn't Look the part of a beast; hazy and fluffy, but still average for the style. Smells are mostly fruit with underlying malt. Tastes are balanced, despite I initially thought this was fruit punch; the hops came in to balance and stayed to the end... and never got cloying as many do in this style. Light to medium-mouthed.
This is a 20 year old micro, although you wouldn't know it looking at how few ratings they got. UnTappd indicates a dedicated group of drinkers with 5 times as many total Check-ins as Uniques. So to find out why, I go to Bright's website. I discover how remote they are in Alpine Victoria; but tightly organized and well-run and making significant investment in the taproom. And the dedicated customers keep coming back. Bright also does the good guy stuff of sustainable brewing and community engagement and active lifestyle (something we all need, right?) So for all this, I give Bright Very Good Overall Hugs.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
