from the can; Tasting Notes from UnTappd and, possibly, the micro's site --
Celebrate stein season with a German icon, brewed high up in the mountains by our devoted lager-loving brew team. This beer is crafted to evoke memories of the big tent, featuring Mandarina Bavaria and Saphir hops. Prost!
Brewer’s Tasting Notes: “Clean and crisp with a touch of residual malt sweetness over a biscuit-like base. Subtle yeast spice and earthy, floral notes from Saphir hops. Light-bodied and smooth—perfect for steins, songs, and celebration.”
Malts: Pale, Vienna. Hops: Saphir

A flavourful Fest that, unfortunately, forgets to foam.
I give Bright's Bierfest slightly above average points for Looks because it's a pretty pale... but not a foam any Bavarian brewer would be proud of. Smells are mostly malt with a hint of hops. Sweet Tastes are balanced, but no semi-dry finish that the masters achieve. Medium-mouthed.
My second brew from them, I give very good Overall Hugs to Bright for bringing brewing culture to the mountains of Victoria and persisting as an active part of this different Aussie climate.
