Hand-pulled pint into a UK sleeve on 26 Apr 2013 in my local Wetherspoons.
Dark amber, leaning towards mahogany in colour, clear with an un-even head of off-white scummy bubbles for a head.
The aroma sends out a hop message, the taste however is malty: a bitter hop finish rounds off the flavours nicely, even if it is at odds with the rest on the drink. This is more complex than it appears and is different and almost strange in its make-up.
I've had it before and don't remember the mood swings in the taste, difficult to dislike, but I didn't really enjoy it either.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
