Pours pale gold, mild haze through the body. Steady bead feeding a dense white head, visible bubbles on the side, light cradle of lace. Could use more haze but otherwise very nice.
Smells saisony. Mild funk with rubber notes, touch of elderflower and vanilla. Some spice character; saisony, very appealing.
Taste is quite sweet upfront with vanilla/caramel malt notes, then saison yeast takes over, giving mild barnyard character with some rubber, lucerne and mild phenols. Mildly spicy but predominantly fresh and farmyardy. To style, and well handled.
Body is slightly thin upfront, but gets texture towards late-mid that is soft enough to feel that malt has more presence later. Bit of fizz though.
A nice saison. Up there with Red Hill's: just a good, to-style saison for the Aus market. Well made, well tempered, drinkable.

Sampled at the Taphouse.
Really nice, classic, clean, crisp saison flavours. There is also a delicious peachy quality in both nose and taste imparted by hops. Just a fantastic and classy rendition of a saison and well worth a try.
This will lead me to perhaps revisit other Moo beers as it was very well handled with a crispness of flavour I'd only otherwise expect from Feral in Australia.
